NOVEC is your locally based and operated cooperative electric energy supplier.
We have supplied our community with energy and reliable service for more than 60
years. Currently we provide energy to more than 132,000 residential,
commercial, business and government customers in Clarke, Fairfax, Fauquier,
Loudoun, Prince William and Stafford Counties, the City of Manassas Park and
the Town of Clifton. NOVEC has a near perfect service reliability rating of
99.98%, unsurpassed in Northern Virginia.
Today, NOVEC supplies and delivers the energy you use. This is called "bundled"
electric service. As a distribution electric cooperative, NOVEC does not
generate electricity. We have a 30 percent interest in Old Dominion Electric
Cooperative, a generation and transmission organization, which supplies
electricity to NOVEC and nine other electric cooperatives in Virginia, Maryland
and Delaware.
